Marsha Campbell, J.D.
VP of Culture, Inclusion & Equity
Marsha Calloway-Campbell is a multifaceted professional with over 35 years of experience as an attorney and market research consultant. In recent years, she has focused on estate planning and probate law, and as the principal of her consultancy firm, she collaborates with top Fortune 100 companies, specializing in qualitative research.
In 2017, Marsha’s professional trajectory was profoundly influenced by her husband’s diagnosis with Multiple Myeloma. She immediately became his caregiver and later embraced the role of health advocate. This transformative experience ignited her passion for health advocacy and shifted her career focus.
Although she continues to practice law, Marsha became increasingly involved in initiatives aimed at raising awareness and educating Black communities about Multiple Myeloma. In January 2022, she assumed the role of Director of the Black Myeloma Health Initiative at the HealthTree Foundation, a myeloma patient-advocacy organization. This program works to increase awareness and advocate for myeloma patients within Black communities.
Driven by her commitment to health equity, Marsha joined Legacy Health Strategies in 2023 as Vice President of Culture, Inclusion & Equity. In this role, she combines her legal expertise with health advocacy to address health disparities and promote diversity in clinical research. Marsha works with clients in the health equity space, focusing on amplifying patient voices, addressing health disparities, and empowering patients with knowledge about clinical research.
Marsha continues to support her husband as he navigates his journey with Multiple Myeloma. Together, they have faced the significant impact of misdiagnoses and delays in diagnosis, but remain hopeful and prayerful about the outcomes.
Living in the Cincinnati area, Marsha has been married to her high school sweetheart for nearly 40 years. She has three adult daughters and a young grandson, Justice. A proud 44-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Marsha was initiated into the Omicron Chapter at the University of Cincinnati in 1980.
Marsha earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1985 and is admitted to the Ohio Supreme Court Bar and the Federal District Court Bar for the Southern District of Ohio, 6th Circuit.
