Marsha Calloway-Campbell, J.D.
Principal, MCC Consulting Group, LLC
Marsha Calloway‑Campbell is an attorney, qualitative research professional, and respected health equity advocate whose work bridges law, research, and lived experience. With more than 40 years of combined legal and market‑research expertise, she brings analytical rigor, cultural insight, and community‑centered leadership to the Multiple Myeloma space.
Marsha’s advocacy began in 2017 when her husband was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. As his caregiver, she confronted the realities of misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis, and the systemic barriers that disproportionately affect Black families. This experience reshaped her professional focus and continues to drive her commitment to ensuring that Black patients and caregivers are informed, supported, and empowered.
In 2022, Marsha became Director of the Black Myeloma Health Initiative at the HealthTree Foundation. She led national awareness and education efforts, conducted extensive one‑on‑one qualitative interviews with Black myeloma patients, and encouraged participation in quantitative research to strengthen representation in data. Under her leadership, the Black Myeloma Health community expanded significantly - particularly through Instagram, where she built a trusted, culturally resonant presence that connected patients and caregivers nationwide. She also collaborated with community organizations, healthcare leaders, and industry partners to advance equity in myeloma outcomes.
As Principal of MCC Consulting Group, LLC, Marsha continues to advise organizations committed to health equity, clinical trial inclusion, and community‑driven program design. Her qualitative research expertise allows her to uncover the deeper motivations, fears, and needs that shape patient experiences and translate those insights into actionable strategies.
Marsha remains her husband’s primary caregiver, grounding her work in compassion and lived understanding. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for more than 40 years and is the proud mother of three adult daughters and grandmother to one grandson, Justice. Marsha has been a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated for 46 years.
Marsha earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and is admitted to practice before the Ohio Supreme Court Bar and the U.S. District Court Bar for the Southern District of Ohio. Her life and career reflect a steadfast commitment to service, equity, and improving outcomes for Black families affected by Multiple Myeloma.
